This is a neat way to implement ransackable scopes! I can see how this simplifies filtering based on boolean values. It reminds me of how we handled player selection in our game, speed stars . We used a similar approach to filter racers based on skill level using scopes, making the leaderboard queries much cleaner. Good stuff!
