Is Your "Dark Mode" Coding Hiding Hardware Failures?

As developers on Viblo, we pride ourselves on optimized code and sleek dark-themed IDEs. However, I’ll make a strong affirmative statement: your technical environment is fundamentally compromised if you aren't auditing the physical integrity of your screen. I firmly believe that much of the eye strain and "focus loss" reported by developers is actually caused by micro-distractions from backlight bleed and dead pixels that only become visible on dark backgrounds. It is a massive oversight to optimize your backend performance while ignoring the primary hardware bottleneck that delivers your work to your eyes. I’ve integrated this black screen utility into my weekly workspace maintenance to ensure my "Dark Mode" is actually black, not a muddy gray. Do you think hardware verification should be a standard part of a developer's setup, or are we too distracted by software to notice our screens are failing?
